How we work
Website focus: Expert product report to substantiate a TN VED code. The specific objects, questions, materials and form of deliverable are agreed before work begins.
1. Enquiry
Describe the task, object, available materials and required deliverable. The initial submission makes it possible to assess whether the work is feasible.
2. Preliminary consideration
Competence, sufficiency of materials, need for inspection, limitations and the proposed deliverable format are clarified.
3. Agreeing the order
Before work begins, the subject, questions, cost, timeframe, payment arrangements and delivery of the result are agreed. Additional actions and expenses require agreement.
4. Examination and deliverable
The work is carried out within the agreed scope. If the materials prove insufficient, the next steps are agreed. The deliverable is supplied in the agreed format.
5. Questions after delivery
Send requests for clarification, comments and quality-related claims through the website contact details, identifying the order. Payment, cancellation and refund terms are published in the legal section.

How to account for clarifications to the technical description
A product description may be supplemented after the first enquiry: a detailed technical data sheet, manufacturer's response, drawing or composition breakdown becomes available. It is helpful to retain the history of these clarifications so that the information on which the expert substantiation is based remains clear.
Accompany each new file with a short explanation: which product it relates to, who provided it and what information it clarifies. A corrected translation, a manufacturer's letter and a new version of your own description have different origins. It is best to provide them separately together with the previous version if its contents matter to the dispute.
- Agree the list of items and questions posed.
- Link documents and images to specific products.
- Identify characteristics already confirmed and those requiring clarification.
- Record the set of materials used for the final analysis.
If the dispute concerns a difference between declared and actual properties, attach both descriptions. State which document contains each and the date to which it relates. This allows a substantive check of the discrepancy, rather than a discussion of only two proposed codes.
The examination section should explain which product characteristics have been established from the materials provided and how they relate to the classification options considered. An independent report and an application for an official ruling serve different functions; the prepared set of materials makes the expert substantiation verifiable while preserving that distinction.
